Duncan Day has been hard at work creating a 1/500th scale Commonwealth Navy Corvette. You fly a Corvette in the in the original Independence War game, so this is a very special model; one that fans of the I-War series will very much appreciate.

The model features detachable Accomodation modules - short range shuttles also known as 'Pasties', and a detachable Command Section, the triangular nose section where the ship's bridge is located.

Available for download soon!

The model is an impressive 127cm long (nearly 50 inches!), and as a bonus includes a to-scale Patcom model (1/2200), so you can really get an impression of how big it is.

BONUS 1/1200 SCALE PATCOM NOW AVAILABLE

A scaled-down version ( 1/1200) of the Patcom is also available, which is the same scale as the freighters and cargo pods. Now you can truly gauge the size of the gargantuan I-War transport ships! Get it from our models page.

NEW MODELS AVAILABLE!

In the original Independence War game the Independent Navy paint their captured ships in lurid paint schemes as a mark of ownership and as an insult to the Commonwealth Navy.

Duncan Day has produced two excellent Indie paint scheme variants of his PatCom model. You can download them from our  models page, or go to the gallery page to see some close-up images.
